Internal courses are organized on a regular basis in order to equip early career scientists with essential skills.
In person courses are taught by professionals from IARC or external experts, and are organized into the following generic skills categories: research skill development; IT skills; communication and writing skills; career management/development; leadership and management; and responsible conduct of research.
Online training opportunities are also offered, through the internal World Health Organization learning platform, thus further expanding the training
Continuing dialogue with the Early Career Scientists Association [link] has enabled the offer to be refined on a regular basis to address the needs of the beneficiaries of the IARC Research Training and Fellowship Programme.
