WHO/EURO-IARC Course on Implementation Research in Cervical Cancer Elimination in Russian (18-19 December 2019) in St. Petersburg, Russia

The first workshop on cervical cancer elimination and the role of implementation research for Russian oncologists, gynaecologists and other health care specialists will take place in Russia (St. Petersburg) on December 18-19, 2019. By bringing together professionals on oncology from different parts of the Northwestern Federal District of Russia to St. Petersburg, the course will be an integral part of the regional oncological conference and serve as a platform for networking on scientific collaboration, providing the opportunity for participants to discuss barriers and solutions in cervical cancer screening and the essential role of implementation research, proper collection of data, and exchange opinions on challenges and opportunities to improve cervical cancer prevention in the country and beyond. The course will be extended with practical classes on data collection and analysis.
